Fat Panda Baking was a passion project that allowed me to merge my love for baking with my design background. As a designer, I believe desserts can tell stories, so each creation always incorporates an interesting concept or narrative. For instance, during the Mid-Autumn Festival, I crafted a lemon tart and a chocolate tart, representing the full moon and new moon respectively. The packaging was designed to be rotatable, creating a visual representation of the full cycle of moon phases. This project involved creating a series of desserts inspired by different festivals, and I was responsible for every aspect, from concept development and design to production, including the baking itself!
